"Behind the Green Door" is a classic song by the Mills Brothers. The story is of a boy wondering what is going on in there. (Oops, it also is the title of famous porn movie. We'll ignore that one.)
I was in Rome last summer, and I loved the doors-in-the-walls. Now I'm going to have to re-visit my photos and see if many were green. Perhaps it should be added as a good luck omen to your last post?
Isn't it amazing that we are so fascinated with these architecturally gorgeous doors that have such perfect craftsmanship and detail - including their rusting hinges, graffiti or splits.
Green is my favorite color.my front door in Colorado is turquoise green.i also noticed the prevalence of green doors in italy. But have not as yet discovered why...
